In the spirit of FRIENDSHIP, and under the guidance of the Supreme Basileus of the Universe, the Men of the Undaunted Upsilon Tau Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. would like to welcome you and thank you for visiting our website. 

Upon receiving our Charter in 1961 in Poughkeepsie New York, the men of the Upsilon Tau Chapter have continuously focused our efforts, time, and resources to improving the quality of life of African-Americans as well as the underserved and underrepresented citizens in the Mid-Hudson Valley region of New York. 

 

Our conduct, efforts, and core values are reflections of our four cardinal principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift.

 

Our beloved fraternity’s motto is “Friendship Is Essential To The Soul”, With that, we consider all who visit our website to be friends, and hope that you are encouraged to continue to be change agents in your/our community.

 

These past few years have been unprecedented with regards to challenges we have never faced before. It is of the utmost importance now more than ever to work collaboratively and focus on positive outcomes for all.

 

As Basileus, I have seen first hand the many hats my brothers and I have had to wear throughout the years. I am humbled by the work ethic, selflessness, and enthusiasm the brothers continue to display. As we serve the Mid-Hudson Valley, we also strengthen our bond with one another. We truly believe in FELLOWSHIP THROUGH SERVICE.
